rFactor2 DTM ’89 v2.0 Update

rF2 DTM 1989 2.0 Detailed Update Changelog:

  • All sounds updated from SFX to the new JSON sound
  • Added wiper and marbles sound
  • Reduced the rumble effect volume to fix the problem which was present with the old SFX file while driving through on the rumble.
  • Added DTM_1989 prefix for the car class in the vehicle files. In this case you’ll see all DTM ’89 cars next to each other.
  • Added AO spec map for exterior window
  • Tweaked shader settings for exterior window
  • Repaint all exterior and interior window (Changed the base colour of the glass, and the alpha colour also, and reduced the brightness of the dashboard reflection. The M3Evo and the 190E already use the new colours and reflection.)
  • Added DriveTrain loss for the first three released cars (GSI, Supra and RS500), these cars used 0% DT loss in the previous versions, but now using 15-16% loss, same as the last three cars (MGT5.0, M3Evo and 190E both version)
  • Fixed some wrong undertray params.
  • Recalculate fuel consumption on all cars
  • Adjusted steering shaft and torque settings on some cars
  • Replaced the wrong rim type on the RS500 car No. 30-31-32. It used the big chrome lip BBS 20 spokes rim, but these three cars used the small metal lip BBS 20 spokes rims, like on some M3Evo. (also replaced the ui preview images with the new rims)
  • Added missing tire and rim LOD’s for the M3 and RS500
  • Added a new headlight sticker for RS500 and replaced the shader blending mode to render in front of the headlight glass
  • Removed the headlight sticker from the window paint and moved to a separate texture with new Extra2 material, because of the blending mode changes as described above. (RS500)
  • Removed the paintable gear knob from Extra2 material (because of the glass sticker), and moved to genstring option with 4 selectable colours (white, dark blue, red and yellow) due to exceeding the Extra material limit on the RS500.
  • Removed the headlight sticker from the window paint and moved to a separate texture with new Extra9 material, because of the blending mode changes as described above. (GSI)
    Added 40kg for the GSI (recalculated car inertia and chassis front and rear subbody weight)
  • Tweaked diff settings (GSI)
  • Increased RevLimit from 8.800 to 9.300 rpm (GSI)
  • Weight distribution moved forward by 4,1% (GSI)
  • Fixed front and rear springs settings (GSI) (they used much more stiff springs on their cars)
  • Fixed wrong UW on the tachometer (GSI)
  • Removed adjustable rear wing settings from the Mustang
  • BoP (balanced the performance on all cars, tweaked aero settings)
